Yeah, you heard me. Peep the vid above. Seriously, it doesn’t get much whiter than NASCAR, demographically speaking. The famous drivers in this PSA (whom I don’t recognize at all because I am not the target audience) encourage students to listen up to the special message he’s giving for back to school Tues at noon EST. I assume this is an attempt to reassure the frightened whites of the Bible Belt that it’s ok if America’s first Black president talks to them. My guess is what they’re really afraid of is the dual notion of equal opportunity and racial equality seeping into their children’s psyche.

Double eyeroll. From the special resources pages where you can also pick up the recommended class activity plans:

The President’s message will be streamed live on, and broadcast live on C-Span. For school districts hoping to access the satellite feed, it will be available beginning at 11:00 AM (EDT) using the following coordinates:
* Galaxy 28/Transponder 17, Slot C (9 MHz)
* Uplink Frequency 14344.5 Horizontal
* Downlink Frequency 12044.5 Vertical

For those wondering what the process of converting our tender youth to Afro-Leninist-Islam looks like, here are a few excerpts from his bomb-throwing remarks. Read the whole thing to find the hidden communist codes in Obama’s message of “personal responsibility” — there’s a prize inside, kids! At the end of the video, it’s rumored Obama will teach kids how to make a proper Molotov cocktail. Mmm…shaken, not stirred. (Note: this is satire, silly)

Now I’ve given a lot of speeches about education. And I’ve talked a lot about responsibility.

I’ve talked about your teachers’ responsibility for inspiring you, and pushing you to learn.

I’ve talked about your parents’ responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox.

I’ve talked a lot about your government’s responsibility for setting high standards, supporting teachers and principals, and turning around schools that aren’t working where students aren’t getting the opportunities they deserve.

But at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, and the best schools in the world – and none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities. Unless you show up to those schools; pay attention to those teachers; listen to your parents, grandparents and other adults; and put in the hard work it takes to succeed.

And that’s what I want to focus on today: the responsibility each of you has for your education. I want to start with the responsibility you have to yourself.

Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That’s the opportunity an education can provide.

We posted this way back when but here it is again Below, watch cub reporter/socialist-mouthpiece-in-training Damon Weaver from the KEC TV News Team from Kathryn E. Cunningham/Canal Point Elementary breaking the big news about President Obama’s plan to address, i.e. brainwash, students across the country on September 8th.
